Oh! Christmas Tree Oh! Christmas Tree

We finaly have a tree tall enough to put lights on this year...in fact when you look closer there are 4 little trees all growing along side of each other. The snow was quit heavy today so some of the lights were pulled down...causing some blank areas....but I still think it's pretty!

First Snow- Arrowhead Park- Huntsville

Our first so called heavy snowfall and I was joined by a good friend to venture out and hike the trails around Mayflower Lake in Arrowhead Park. Perfect weather, first snow then sun then clouds then snow then sun.....wonderful changing light for photography.....I was grateful for having the afternoon off work to enjoy this experience, and with a Great Friend!

Dorset Falls, on Kawagama Lake Road

A pretty little set of falls but I was hoping for a stronger flow of water. Also it would be nice to shoot at peak fall color time next year. A very peaceful spot and I loved the solitude I experienced as I enjoyed a deeper connection to nature!

A frosty morning on Dwight Beach, Lake of Bays

I was on my way to a shoot for a new waterfall location, but decided to stop by this beach to see how it looked at this hour of the morning. Wow! what a lovely surprise to see calm water, a bit of mist and such gorgeous color in the sky.I'm so grateful for taking the time to take that little detour!!!!!

Yankee Falls in November!

Well it was a dull dreary day....Hooray!!!! the best conditons for those silky waterfalls shots....so off towards Algonquin Park to help a fellow photographer learn the tricks and tips of shooting these amazing falls and getting this effect. I had to do some real Monkey climbing to get to this angle of the falls, but I sure was Pleased with my results.
