Sunset on Horn Lake

We always look forward to another fun season at our trailer, and I try to capture as many Great Sunsets as possible that we are so blessed to enjoy!!!! By October the sun will have shifted farther to the south, so on the summer solstice it will be in it's most northern position...I Love shooting after the many summer storms....they give you the most dramatic skies.....

Wow! what a fantastic little-itty-bitty world we have.....I never thought a tent Caterpillar was so colourful....just loving this new micro lens....and seeing a hidden world all around us!!!!!

The Beauty Within

Even on a dark cloudy day, there is still so much Beauty in Algonquin..I capture some distant light on the emerald green mountain sides of new spring leaves. Mood shots are so exciting to capture....

Red Trilliums

They are also referred to as Stinky Benjamin's or as Muskoka locals call them, Stinky Jacks. The smell is an attractant for the Carrion Fly who will them pollinate them. I was fortunate to find one pointing straight out instead of it's usual downward direction, and the rain drop was a wonderful bonus.

Another Magical sunrise with a surprise of Mist

I never tire of shooting the beginnings of a glorious day....it is a special moment where I reflect on the blessings given to me...and I should give Thanks for that Precious Gift!!!! Especially a sunrise in Algonquin....this past Monday was another perfect day to spend it with my Best Friend, my husband! Doing the things we Love, Canoeing, Fishing, Hiking and enjoy our hobby of Photography.....it just dosen't get better than this!!!!!
