There is something magical as the sun begins her journey through Earth's atmosphere, the gorgeous array of colours that will light up the surface of a low cloud ceiling, just excities the creativety in me. I will brave the black flies and mosquitoes just to capture those wonderous moments, so I
may share them with the world on my blog!!!!!

A Moose Hunt in Algonquin....with Cameras of course!
So sorry for not keeping up my blog for so long, we experienced an illness that was quit severe this past winter and I was not in a proper frame of mind with concerns for my husband's welfare.....he is now doing much better Thank You, Dear Lord!
Here are a few shots from our annual photography event here in Algonquin with other members of my camera club, with a total of 22 Moose sightings, 5 Whitetail Deer sightings, 2 Beavers and a lovely range of Birds including 2 Raptors it was a great success. But the bonus this year was a close-up encounter with an Eastern Wolf right along the roadway. Sad to say my images of the animal were not very good, I had borrowed an older Nikon telephoto lens that was not compatible to my newer camera, so could not focus or zoom properly. The Wolf allowed us only a few minutes before he retreated back deep into the forest! But his image will be forever ingrained in my mind!!!!!
The silky water shots were taken at Tea Lake Dam, as this young man was working his fly rod in pursuit of some tasty Brook Trout.
