Busted

This young Fawn, it could have been a Buck or Doe, kept trying to catch my scent. She/He could see the odd movement when I would reach up to make an adjustment on my camera, but still wasn't sure what she/he was seeing.....then Bang!!!! I was Busted!!!! she/he picked up my scent and in a flash was off bounding away, with White Flag swaying to and fro...I Love how swift and sure footed they are even in belly deep snow....

I just took another look at your two deer snow photos and I could not tell the difference between a painting and a photograph....I could swear they were paintings, amazing!! I love your composition on both, thanks for sharing your talent, Linda

They sure are wary. I guess the ones who aren't are..well, not propogating the species!

This is really majestic, for several reasons I never had the opportunity of taking pictures like these about the winter. Thank you for the comment and visit to my blog

There survival depends on it. But you did a good job to get that close.

Hieno kuva luonnosta..
Eläimet, ankara talvi, lumi-räntää.
Kauriit etsimässä ruokaa...?

Fine image the draft .. Animals, severe winter, the snow-sleet. Deer looking for food ...?

Great capture, Susan - before you were busted. Look like white tail deer - we get a lot around our house but never close enough to get a decent shot, and they're quite skittish.

I'm not fond of snow, but you have some gorgeous shots!! When it's freshly fallen, I admit, it's quite beautiful. That's about the only nice thing I can say about it.

Todella hieno kuva, kaunis. Olet saanut lumisateen hyvin kuviin. Kauriit ovat kauniita, täällä niitä näkee luonnossa harvoin, jos koskaan.

I like yours pictures, there are beautiful;)

great snow shots, how fortunate you were able to capture the deer. I have plenty here however, I've not been able to photograph them. They are too quick.

Thanks for wanting to follow my blog. I am not sure how to do it but I know others have found the "thingy" which allows you to. I can just tell you I do post everyday as I am taking on the project 365.
