The dogsled trail and along Big Pines hiking trail

This is something new I'm trying, I have never posted more than one image at a time so Please bear with me....I hope this works out!!!! Last Monday as we drove through Algonquin we stopped at the parking lot which accesses the dogsled trails and one of the many hiking trails. The fresh fallen heavy snow fall was just too gorgeous not to shoot. I took a short walk along the hiking trail and was lost in the beauty of the deep forest covered in it's late winter blanket. Also the contrast of white blanketed trees and blue sky were breathtaking....Our winter will soon come to an end as I look out to a heavy rain fall today, I will enjoy looking back at these images and remember that Special Day in my favorite Park " Algonquin".
I'm sorry there seems to be a typo at the beginning of my paragraph....more to learn I guess!!!!!

Thanks Diamond, I think I'll post a series from now on instead of just a tease....it just tells a story better....don't you think????

Thanks Dawn, Yes how I would have Loved to have walked that whole trail that day, but we did not have a parking permit and was on our way home with a car load of food and gear. I sure will check out that trail this spring...but it sure won't look as beautiful as it did that day!!!!!! Just glad to have those few shots and catch those kids Ski Joring...check older post!!!!!
