We travelled through Algonquin Park on Monday after a stormy weekend, and what a treat!!!!It was another Winter Wonderland and when we stopped at the parking area where the dogsled teams usualy start their tours we were fortunate to meet up with a couple who were Ski Joring with their teams of Huskies and Golden Retriever. The Golden was just a pup in training, but the Huskies were so vocal and excitied to get on their way. I'm sure you must be strong and fit to keep up with these energetic dog teams!!!!

I have a husky mix and have often thought he would have loved to be on a dog sled team. My labs, they're crazy little girls, I would fear for where they would be pulling me.
Great I can now read EKO's comments...A big thank you!!!!!! Yes I would also be a bit afraid with powerful dogs pulling me...I've been dogsledding before and Wow can they run...they obey turn calls but only an anchor in the snow and brakes on the sled will stop them....
Ive never even heard of this but it totally makes sense! I gotta try this!d
