An Algonquin's Mistical Morning in Oct.

Up way before dawn to drive the 50 minutes to the West Gate of Algonquin Park, quit a scary experience in such thick fog and never knowing if a huge Moose or Deer will be standing in the middle of the road. I headed to my two favorite shooting spots along Hwy. 60, Smoke Lake and Lake of Two Rivers, and was pleased to find the mist starting to rise, allowing the mysteries of the Lake to show themselves. There were even some spots along the way with fresh fallen snow, a reminder of what is to come! I also enjoyed the quiet solitude as I sat for awhile to breath in the Beauty of this Park and noticed the many animal tracks as they came down to have a morning drink. A young muskrat swam by and many birds greeted me with a morning song! It's moments like this, why I am so grateful for my life here in the Muskokas!!!!!

These are beautiful shots. Thanks for being there to get them and sharing.

My blog is still MIA, but who knows what next week will bring.

Thanks Everyone, if there's one place you don't have to ask me twice to visit...is this Amazing Park....but to take in all her beauty I find the quiet morning hours are the best, no crowds or traffic, I wish I could experience every morning with sights and sounds as these.....what a "Gift" that would be!!!!!
