Mayflower Lake, Arrowhead Park
When we still had most of our fall colors in Sept I took the opportunity to venture out to do some shooting in a provincial park nearby. This lovely little natural spring fed lake was so calm and peaceful that afternoon, I just enjoyed discovering her lovely shorelines and reflections. Our hills are now almost all grey except for the late colors of gold from Poplars and Silver Birches. The Tamaracks will be the last color to splash against the dull grey bare branches. Then we await the first blanket of snow! and the fun begins again!!!!!!

Once upon a time there must have been an abundance of arrowheads found in this beautiful park.
Mayflower Lake looks like a perfect spot for American Indians to settle. I enjoy the history of places like this.
Thanks for your kind comments, Pam i am :D
